Complaints on boot program on the rise

Ever since the start of the city's boot program, my inbox and sources have been flooding me with complaints from outraged residents...and it's not good.

For the last 2 weeks, I've been researching on VioAlert, the company behind the boot program whose history...and lets just say that their practice is shady at best.

Here's a screen shot of one resident's message to Mayor Boughton (via twitter) about the program.



Trust me, this is not the only person who's giving Mayor Boughton an earful about the program. I'm hearing reports on boots being placed on cars on private property as well as one incident where a woman's car was booted while she was out at 11PM and was stuck without a means to get home.
