Thanks to the Naval History & Heritage Command a nice vintage documentary, like those we used to watch in school, way back in the dark ages before YouTube. Seems to be only the first part, but enjoy:

This 1953 Navy documentary uses colorful artwork to tell the story of the Quasi-War with France, and the Barbary Wars. Part 1 begins with the hard times experienced after American victory in the Revolutionary War, the birth of the United States Navy, and the outbreak of the Quasi-War with France (1798-1800).
