According to the UK's "Mail OnLine" not only have they released them as a part of an online searchable database called, appropriately enough THE VAULT, but the documents (one HERE, the other HERE, confirm the cover up story according to which alien bodies were recovered from a crash site, and stories were invented about runaway weather balloons.
Is this site and are these documents just some hoax? Sure doesn't look like it. If this is indeed genuine, it's pretty big stuff, Earth has been visited, and those of us that have had our fun at the expense of purveyors of the cover-up story, owe apologies to said folks.
Then again, this all could be Phil Harris and Frankie Remley's doings.
